Hello, my name is Patricia Bird and I am the owner of Brown Bird Quilts. I would like to tell you a little bit about my company and how it was started.

My grandmother taught me to sew when I was a little girl, and I would spend hours making doll clothes from her fabric scraps. I grew to love sewing so much it was what I wanted to do in all of my free time. I made my clothes and then when I had children, I made their clothes. I especially loved creating clothes for them that I saw in magazines.

My children grew up and it was time to find something new to make that made me feel as excited about sewing as I used to. I tried quilting and it has grown into an obsession. I enjoy making quilts and seeing the fabrics come to life in the quilt designs.

My quilts are all from a smoke free environment. The quilts are made from the finest 100% cotton quilt shop quality fabrics that you can buy. All the materials in my quilts are 100% cotton including the thread and batting. I have quilts that are already made to be purchased or I will be glad to custom make a quilt for you using your color theme or fabric that you choose. I do not mass produce my quilts. Each one is an individual work of art.

I also offer professional long arm machine quilting services. Please e-mail me your information, and I will send you a price quote and how long it will take before you will receive your quilt. All of my work is prepaid, and I accept check, money order, or Paypal.
